Jim's Bear hunt 2009
Here it is folks. I finally went bear hunting in Ontario. Mark runs a tight camp at
Mountain View Camp
outside Blind River Ontario. My guide was Nick and he kicked some ass. My shot placement wasn't the best but we did retrieve the bear after a brief track in the bush.
The bear hide is at the taxidermist and the meat in my freezer. Summer and I ate the tenderloins the date after I got the bear. MMMM good. The rest of the meat is being butchered out this week. I have the choice cuts and am burgering the rest. What an experience! I can't wait to do it again.
